In Search Of Motivation…

Okay!!! I almost forgot the existence of this blog.

So the reason for me starting this blog was due to boredom and to pen down the random thoughts that ran into my mind when I had no one to share it with or didn’t feel like. It is not that I don’t have any content to write but its the laziness in me that stops me from keeping up with my blog posts plus it depends on my mood too. Lately there have been days where I am not in the mood to do anything and keep on procrastinating things.

I dont know why ??? Is it only me or does it happen to you too ??? There are days where I lack motivation and face creative blocks, when I have no idea as to where am I going what am I doing, maybe just doing something without any aim of it.

It becomes harder and harder day by day to get up every morning and face the competitive world. Face the challenges that comes with it and what not.

Each day we happen to meet so many people and learn from each of them. These are the same people in life you come across who let you down, test your patience, have arguments and clashes but wait a minute these are the same people who will inspire you, motivate and make you realize that each and every human being is unique and different in their on way, whether you except it or not thats a true fact.

Motivation and Inspirtaion is all around you including you yourself. So don’t hunt for it. Days will come and go, there shall be good ones as well as bad, but you yes you have to stay strong and stand there and fight it all by yourself and enjoy each and every moment of it.

Don’t lose the battle, learn each day have experience, get motivated and inspired and be the reason to make others inspired too. Keep growing each day and never get tired of it.

An Unusual Sunday Morning…

So it was a Sunday and I was up at 5:00 AM with only 4 hours of sleep; but still fresh and energetic. It was pitch dark outside and I was getting ready to go to the temple for offering my prayers with my family.

It was 5:50 AM and I was all set to start my walk to the famous Siddhivinayak Temple situated in Mumbai which is not at all close to my home. As it was my first time, there was a stream of thoughts going through my head as to how will  I be covering such a long distance walking; tough I was completely excited about it and ready for this short but not too short journey.

So we started our walk towards our destination, the sun was yet to rise and we were walking on the lonely streets on a Sunday morning. It seemed so calm and peaceful to walk on the streets of Mumbai which is always buzzing with traffic and it’s people that we call as “Mumbaikars”. Doesn’t it sound cool ? It had been half an hour since our walk started and there was a sense of positive energy in the air that could be felt with the soft rays of sun cutting through the dark clouds and rising up, that gave me motivation to ”RISE AND SHINE” no matter what the situation. The vibes that you get in the morning is just magical. There was a mixture of view that I got to see on this journey, on one hand I saw beautiful trees covering both the side of lanes, chirping of birds, people jogging around and cyclist on their way cycling which made me feel so happy to live in such a great city, whereas on the other hand I got to see so many homeless people sleeping on the footpaths along with their family, jobless people begging on the streets and there was so much of dirt everywhere, that felt left me in the sense of helplessness and could no do anything about it but hope that one day it will all be fine. I diverted my mind and felt grateful to have such a great and loving family with a shelter above me to live in.

It was 6:54 AM, one hour since we had been walking but not at all tired. We were half way through; there was other half way to go and we continued to walk.

Almost 10 minutes away from the temple it was 7:55 AM and we came across a beautiful Church where people were well dressed on the occasion of Easter and wishing each other. So many happy faces bought a smile on my face too.

8:05 AM , it had been 2 hours 15 minutes since we had been walking and we finally reached the temple. What an achievement, it may sound stupid for you guys but there was a sense of proud feeling for me on walking my way through; which made me very happy. As these are little things in life matter the most. Isn’t it ?

When we entered the temple there was a sense of happiness that went through. Further we headed towards the stalls which displayed various offerings to God. We too purchased one of them and went to stand in the queue which was long but not as long as we see on tuesday’s. As tuesday is considered as the day of lord Ganesha.

After giving my offerings to God and praying to the lord which was in a complete hush hush situation because of the crowd pushing us from behind we came out and I managed to take a breath. Why are people always in such a hurry in life and not let other’s live peacefully ? That sight left me in a little anger but then I calmed my self. Later we went to offer our prayers to lord Hanuman which was not at all crowded. Wondering why ? Maybe it was not that popular in fulfilling wishes.

Lastly we went to my favourite spot in the temple, the rat statue that is considered as the vehicle of lord Ganesha. It has been said that when you whisper your wishes into it’s ears there are chances of it getting fulfilled. So why not try your luck!!! We sat there for a while and headed back home on a good note with lord Ganesha’s blessings. It was a completely different sunday experience from my usual weekend.

As it is my first blog post, felt like sharing a different perception of thoughts and experience. Feel free to drop down your thoughts regarding this post in the comment section below.

Further I shall be sharing post’s related to my art work, travel stories, experiences and random philosophical thoughts so keep following.
